ANTI-MONEY LAUNDERING AND FINANCIAL CRIME CONFERENCE SCHEDULED FOR 1 & 2 September 2021

The Anti-Money Laundering & Financial Crime Conference 2020 is not taking place this year due to the COVID pandemic.

The conference, usually scheduled for October each year, has been postponed to 1 & 2 September 2021.

This is Southern Africa’s most well known event for AML, financial crime and compliance professionals, with over 1 000 attendees being hosted since 2015.

The venue will be decided upon to accommodate the ever growing attendees and you all as previous speakers delegates will be kept updated in the New Year.

This will the 6Th conference of its kind. The previous ones were held at the Indaba Hotel in Fourways, Johannesburg

The attendance figures over the years, underlines the fact that AML is a hot topic, and that it will stay a hot topic in the foreseeable future, especially after the COVID pandemic and the mutual evaluation towards the end of 2019.

Ryno van Elleewe, MD of Trade Conferences International – organisers of the conferences – said by re-scheduling the conference to next year, TCI will be able to highlight new topics, especially the landscape post COVID
