The AML & Financial Crime Southern Africa Conference which was held on 1 & 2 September at the Indaba Hotel, Fourways, once again turned out to be a huge success.
With more than 180 attendees – 50 physical and more than 130 online – TCI once again confirmed our status as the no.1 conference company dealing with banking events.
MD Ryno van Ellewee, said that this was the first year that TCI had to organise a hybrid event on this scale and the feedback received was amazing.
He thanked all the delegates for supporting us at this years’ event.
Investec, Standard Bank, ABSA, Capitec, Allan Gray and FNB all had big groups attending.
Thunile Nkosi, project manager, said that we have missed meeting many of the delegates who attended online, but as it is the new normal, we had to adjust to this remote contact.
“Our speaker panel once again made an excellent contribution to the proceedings. Topics addressed were fresh, relevant and topical.”
Organisations such as SABRIC, Financial Sector Conduct Authority, Standard Bank, FNB, Luno, Deloitte, Financial Intelligence Centre, International Compliance Association, Clientele and many others addressed the event.
