Evolution of Cross Border Payment Conference proved to be an engaging and insightful event
The Evolution of Cross Border Payments Conference that was hosted on 15 & 16 November at the Indaba Hotel Fourways turned out to be an enjoyable event for all delegates and speakers.
Over 20 speakers addressed topics relating to the challenges, opportunities and current issues affecting the cross border payment landscape. The speaker panel once again made an excellent contribution to the programme.
Delegates found the conference programme which featured speakers from the Banking Association of South Africa, Traderoot Africa, Synthesis Software Technologies, XBorder Advisory, Standard Bank, Terrapay, Minit Money, PWC and Finteq amongst others to be extremely informative, and topical.
Delegate representation came from organisations such as First Rand Currency & Exchange Control, Worldremit SA, Currency Partners, Standard Bank CIB IT Operations, AL Baraka Bank, Vodacom Payment Services, Bankserve Africa, Standard Bank Fraud Advisory and much more.
MD, Ryno van Ellewee, said: “Without the support of our speakers and delegates this event would not have been possible. We try our best to not only make the conference a learning experience, but also a fun to attend event. If we managed to do both, we have attained our goal.”
