Project Manager, Portia Dhlamini, said in recent years most South African companies have had poor risk governance, leadership and discipline, resulting in the breaking down of controls to manage third-party risks which may put them in operational danger.

“TCI has put together a programme that will highlight all the challenges associated with third-party risk and how to overcome them. Sessions to be covered include managing risk and instituting best practice due-diligence principles, setting up a third-party risk management framework and the impact of technology and data on third party risk” she added.
The programme will also feature a panel discussion focusing on the role of technology in combatting third-party risk.

More than fifteen speakers from companies such as KPMG, Cura Software Solutions, Stanlib, MMI, Phinity Risk Solutions, Ecsponent, AIG, Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr, Mobius Consulting, Lexis NexisBrolink and SAS will present as part of the speaker panel.

Dhlamini said TCI has hosted more than 350 national events since 2002 within the government, transport, insurance, technology, and finance IT industries.
With TCI events featuring top-level decision-makers and industry experts, this event will once again prove the ability of the company to put together events that attract delegates from all the major banks, service providers and other industries.
