The Digital Banking Conference 2017 organised by Trade Conferences International took place on the 19 & 20 July 2017 at the Indaba Hotel, Foruways, Johannesburg.  The two-day conference attracted delegates from Sout Africa’s major banks, technology and digital services provider companies such as Bytes, Bankservafrica, Capitec Bank, Nedbank Insurance, First National Bank to name a few.

“The TCI staff was helpful, speakers were knowledgable on the topics and engaged attendees regarding questions on the info presented”, said one attendee about the conference, which featured 16 top class speakers from major South Africa financial and technology companies. This includes Standard Bank, TechnoChange, First National Bank to name a few, who treated attendees to 16 insightful presentations which share various strategies, trends and developments which are relevant to the digital banking space.

The feedback back given through questionnaires rated some of our speakers such as Tony de Sousa from Telkom, Evans Munyuki from MyBucks, Kim Dancey from First National Bank, Mike Madonsela from Ubank (to name a few) as the best presenters by attendees.

This year’s Digital Bank had two exhibitors; Trustlink and Azuka Telecoms, who came on board to be part of the conference, and with whom attendees engaged with, discussing the latest technological implementations for digital banking.

“A big thank you to all the delegates, speakers, guests and exhibitors who attended the Digital Banking Conference 2017, which was an amazing and great experience to have you be part of the conference”, said Project Manager Xavier Dipedi.
